Panzer Corps: Afrika Korps is out! The hotly anticipated stand-alone expansion has just been officially released, bringing more quality turn-based strategy wargaming our way.
Panzer Corps: Afrika Korps takes place in 1941, a time when the Axis armies seemed to be on the offensive everywhere. With the arrival of the "Deutsches Afrikakorps" or "DAK" in North Africa and its leader Erwin Rommel, the end seemed to be near for the Allies. Players take command of the DAK with the goals of capturing the Suez Canal and the oil-rich lands of the Arabian Peninsula. If they are cunning enough, resourceful and command their troops well, players might be able to strike towards the jewel of the British Empire: India.
The thirsting masses can now get the expansion from Matrix Games here or from Slitherine here. If you're still on the fence about getting it this recently aired AAR might help tip the scales in the decision making.
