We wait a bit for another infiltration group to show their faces. It's Psyke again and Megapol. So we are off for yet another mission.

Dropping his shields ain't problem... I don't do high enough damage to the UFO itself... probably will have to use Alien tech on ships. I will fiddle with our weapons more and check it again. I need this battleship shot down to get Annihilator.

 

I might try using all Linage plasma or even use Retribution missile. This is one shot missile that does hell of a damage. Problem is it is slow and you should fire it manually.

In this UFO there will be new kind of alien - pretty tough one and I was amazed how good human weapons work against it.

We start in the very end of this map. This UFO is so big that it covers most of it. Upon entering some kind of underground bunker we spot lonely Anthropod.

Astra is able to mind control him and we move it to the other team so they can shoot him later.

There it is - Megaspawn - very tough and powerful alien that can shoot both Devastator Cannon and Dimensional Missile or rather their counterparts since they are his biological "arms".

There are three of those on this ship. Pretty much I thought that it will eat my ammo but surprisingly Power Sword just needs to use half of its energy and two soldiers with AC-AP ammo can kill it fast. Of course Toxigun with Toxin Type C kills it in few shots...

Rearmed and restocked we move in for the Escort UFO.

Alien Mohtership here we come. It is a bit smaller than battleship.

Upon entering the UFO, Psymorphs are waiting. Those are Apocalypse equivalents of Etheralas only they can't shoot but with current psi system every human can be his weapon. Our best Psionics have 8% chance of Mind Controlling him right now and I believe our best Psi-Attack value is something near 80.

Disruptor armor mixed with the Marsec chest piece makes for awesome flying soldiers, all around.

 

True but I don't like mixing armours. Teleporters should soon be available. Probably week 9 and those are far better than flying suits.

 

Wow, this was one huge update, Silencer! A lot of progress made. I'd just like to hint that lately I feel very vulnerable. I'd like to apply for the new armour as well. :D

 

Like I said I need to pick up the pace and finish all before new XCOM arrives.

The last of the UFO that we can know. It also contains Micronoid Aggreaget alien - another Psionic type alien though slightly weaker than Psimorph. You can compare it to sectoid commander.

This looks like a subversion fleet according to ufopaedia. Which scares me a little. They have dropped some rain into this Police station. Now ufopaedia says it is random, but clearly there should be some formula about taking over whole organization. Afterall infiltration is at 0% and Megapol is huge what chance is that they will not turn over?

Phew, that was some tough fighting. How about a payraise? This is more than I signed up for!

 

I think you must recheck that agreement. Technically by joining X-Com you officially case to exist. Your soul is now in the hands of X-Com commander. If you are ordered to die - you die, simple as that we will then later clone you. So fall in and keep killing those aliens.

This is small UFO with small space. We should be careful because those Micronoids are nasty.

If you mean that I used your psionic immunity against those micronoids you are probably right. But you are such an excellent berserker I am pretty amazed of what you are achieving.

Our base is under attack. NKF and Brett are assigned to safe guard and escort if possible our Engineers out of the harms way.

This is our base - we all start closeby the main entrance point. So all go and try to secure it for engineers to exit.

The exit looks clear so we rush them out of the battle field. Next we search for the invaders. They are gangsters from Osiron group. They lately went hostile on us because of the collateral damage we have done to the city. Well they loss. If the main entrance is clear then this means they are somewhere in the repair bay.
