NKF
You can park anywhere regardless of your terms with the owners. The only downside to having a hostile transtellar is that while there are ways to work around any transport problem involving your agents and equipment, moving techs will be next to impossible, if not downright dangerous if they stop in a building. Also I don't think we've had any solid code-dig evidence on the Gravball league's influence on humans yet. Have we? - NKF

silencer_pl
Keep Transtellar at least neutral. That way, you can keep your excess hover bikes and cars there, and interceptors. Anything needing repairs go to your base. Then back to Transtellar. I read that in a strategy guide. It does work. Any other place that is not important, like gangs, etc., you can do a raid on them, and then offer a bribe to get them to neutral. And Cult of Sirius, hit them as often as you can. Mainly stun weapons, there. You can park anywhere regardless of your terms with the owners. Have we? - NKF Yes I know I know, but I think it is more interesting that way, but I might do the craft reposition eventually. About the grav ball - well I know there is negative impact but when they are allies I think there are more people in recruitment list. Now I just need those new Labs and I can buy new base. silencer_pl
Ok. We are going for the last UFO that was shot down. 8 man will have to do. Sgt Strike is there so everything should go in order. Our agents tend more often to spawn at the back of the UFO so we have small treck to get to the enetrance. 4 turns of walking and we are half way there. We are ready to enter. Let's see how they lined up. Hmmm... Ok... smoke them boys. I am actually amazed how well that go. Only one did survive - oh well 1 shield less will not hurt. But I am eating stun grenades like it was chocolate pie. Why stun grapples don't work on shielded units... More to kill - excellent - 2 skeletoids went up. If I will kill all on that floor they surely will panic. That was actually easier than I thought. Here they are. Gimme that shield and die. See? Who needs toxi guns. This should be day end right? Wrong... I've checked what NKF said and behold Something fishy round here. I've checked the map although I though that infiltration occurs in + kind of way but it is in * kind of way. I'll show the map later. I've went to check nearest Marsec building and there were aliens.
Space Voyager
That mission went SMOOTH! Considering how many aliens were there, just great!

silencer_pl
Welcome aboard. Well we don't have PSI rookies in our ranks and definitely this is not the game were pure Humans are PSI specialists (it would be very hard to have a human to get all the PSI stats with 30). But you are welcome anyway. Mate - you are already in.
Wintermist
Oh, so sorry, I totally must have missed that! Apologies! Regardless, I love following the missions and logistics you're writing. Epic read!
silencer_pl
Let's investigate the increased activity in Marsec. Take a look at the map. The pointer shows when the aliens dropped their Infiltration squad and notice where my craft is heading. This is Marsec Flyer factory. The team goes in and it looks we have some action. This is the smallest map I've ever seen. By the looks it only has 2 rooms. Finding aliens wasn't that hard but we are lucky to kill this brainsucker on reaction fire. There were 2 multiworms inside that room so we didn't have any real threat. That was quite relaxing but more to come. Transtellar - right... let's see NKF rule. Again pointer shows Infiltration drop point. Welcome to the Transtellar apartments. This map can be difficult because of many rooms aliens can hide. Looks like they are hiding somewhere on the other side of the map. I have smoked that skeletoid but in precaution filters in helmets didn't stop the stunning effect on my own. Next we find 2 anthropods in apartment nearby. God... how lucky.... We kill the anthropods and stun the second skeletoid. I think I should have enough shields so I can now start killing them old fashion way. That should be the end for this day. We deserve some rest. Just checking and everything should be fine. silencer_pl
We now know the basic of alien genetical structure. It leads to Toxi gun. But first we need to prepare for second base where we will have second team and research facilities. This day was quiet day. Probably we would have 2 alerts if we didn't check those buildings. A proxi mine that can close in to target - nasty. And we prepare for second base. Another free day. Today is UFO day.... and look they have some cloaking technology... they are moving up in tech faster then I have thought. Looks like they are back to the old thing... strange because I've shot down only 1 Fast Attack UFO. After we shot down the first UFO (without scratching any bulding)... bam... freaking alien lovers. We spot the second drop point. After we take care of other UFOS bam... Psyke joins the club... If aliens will come with battleships destroying UFOs they will beg for me to act. Grumble grumble... We prepare for second base with man power. We need few more men to have second team. 1 hybrid and 2 normal soldiers. (Toshio should be selected in the second) That it is for now. Let's get that drop off points.
silencer_pl
Sometimes I wonder - why I see aliens doing Infiltration drop but when you arrive nothing is there? NKF do I make some kind of error in PIE calculations Well we moved to the second position, Sensodrome apartments. All squads cover each corridor so no problem. Spitters sighted. And so does pooper. Azraels armor failed to hold of all the damage but he is here breathing normally. We take care of the spitters. Multiworms ahead. Stg. Strike and Thorondor try to fend off this buggers. While killing Multiworm Sgt. Strike runs out of TU's.... the only solution... grenade under feet and pray that armor will hold. Well again medical bay for you guys. But you live. Second multiworm runs for cover. Ye gods... ambush... SV in reaction fire kills civilian and gets blasted by boomeroid. Wintermist just bearly survives devastator shot. We try to kill them old fashion way. Shuji went up end personal with his AC... but this anthropod had primed vortex mine... blast it. SV also goes close with the last one but he is more fortunate to survive second blast. And we finish off the second multiworm... That was brutal - 1 killed 6 wounded... NKF
With the imaginary nurses everyone keeps talking about, I think it's up to you once you've healed. Also the investigations can be a bit hit and miss - it might've been another one of their buildings. - NKF
silencer_pl
I'll be alright. It was just a flesh-wound. How many years do I have to spend in a hospital bed? 2 - 3 days. With the imaginary nurses everyone keeps talking about, I think it's up to you once you've healed. Also the investigations can be a bit hit and miss - it might've been another one of their buildings. - NKF or I aborted they plan somehow - yes I have checked neighbouring buildings but found nothing... oh well graphs will tell me after a while. silencer_pl
We arrive near the UFO. This time our troops decided to spawn in front of the UFO entry way. Good we can wait for them to come out. That wasn't long time to wait. That is quite a bunch of dead aliens. But we wait for more. Not enough reaction fire men. He managed to throw boomeroid. And primed second one - damn so many good stuff destroyed. Some brainsuckers start to pop out. Along with some spitters. Not my fault they don't know what to do. Y U NO PANIC!? Got you all now. 6 wounded... I am slacking off.

Wintermist
I'm getting comfortable here in the medcenter. Annie the nurse has been giving me looks. silencer_pl
Second UFO, 7 people - let's do it. Upon entering we kill incoming charger. He is also good as dead. Uh oh... crap. Those multiworms.... and he had grenade primed for 1 turn ahead... they were lucky. Only so little because rest was dropped to that apartment housing. Let's check what graph says. Mhm... to the Water Purification plant.
silencer_pl
4 people - should be easy. This ain't big map and we spot them right on the word go. Better be careful. Good thing we got flying suit and there is alternative path down. Blasted poopers. If you don't see what I see... ... then you should now see what I saw. Hmm I thought entropy lunchers would be first... oh well... We kill the spitter here and now we search for that Multiworm. He is here in the water... I think that "glowing" wall should be forcefield not letting anything there... HE rounds are useless there. Grenades too... Phew that was lucky. silencer_pl
Our scientists have finally decided how their bigger labs should look like While we build them they have other work to do. Selling all that stuff we have acquired we decide the location of new base. Viewing all possibilities this slums housing is the cheapest and have enough room for everything we will need. We barely manage to order every room. We lack only psy-gym, alien containment and better workshop but that will come later. Taking care of of all that alien business we have the rest of the week free. Heck even our scientists managed to get some day off. Week 5 so we managed to survive 1 month. Well I promised something after 1 month and I will keep that promise. Monday is also a day off. Finally some action. Only 3 UFOs? Wait, what? They all managed to get infiltration units in place and were too far away for me to catch up. So yeah it will be busy Tuesday.

silencer_pl
Before we do any action, let's check on some of our bravest people. Impressive kill count - you there married with Lyudimila? Well as promised on the start. The most valiant of soldiers will get a special bonus. Because not possible in ordinary way I hear by promote Captain Thorondor to the rank of Commander may aliens fear you and your mighty Auto Cannon. Now onwards to victory. We arrive at Nutrivied Food Plantation and boy I don't like this one bit. This map is so fragile as toddlers butt not to mention that there is little to no cover and since we don't have shields yet I predict a massacre.
