Thorondor
Galaxy Heist is a space game that brings the world of large space battles into the word of close quarter first person shooters. Each match players start out in space, on board a large ship with other players. Each large flagship holds up to 5 players. At least 12-15 large flagships in each space battle(will continue to rise as we optimize more). Space battles can take place in a wide range of environments and areas of the galaxy. Expect dynamic areas to fight in such as giant moving wreckage, areas full of raining meteors, and of course battles on the home front. :: Being Kickstarted here. Seeking Greenlighting here. A game of paranoia and survival, in a drugged-out, dystopian English city in 1964. We Happy Few is the tale of a plucky bunch of slightly terrible people trying to escape from a lifetime of cheerful delusion. Set in a drug-fuelled, retro-futuristic city in an alternative history 1964 England, you’ll have to blend in with its other citizens, who don’t take kindly to people who don’t abide by their not-so-normal rules. :: Get it Kickstarted here. Thorondor
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byuu8HogoR8 Legends of the Seas is a tactical turn-based strategy game where you have to outsmart your opponent in an equal opportunities arena. You do it by giving your ships orders that get followed on both players sides simultaneously once they have ended their turns. To better plan your strategies you can simulate a possible outcome by giving the opponents ships some predicted simulation moves. There will be multiple different types of ships and maps that add even more depth to the strategy of the game. Also there will be multiple game-modes that will each need a different strategical approach. No events in the game are randomly generated, which makes this a truly skill-based game. I like to think of this game as kind of the chess of the video game world. The game is currently trying to raise funds to speed up the development and improve the overall quality of the game. All of the perks include with them at least a contributions worth of in-game currency on the launch day. Indie games really need support for fresh ideas like this. It is difficult to find backers for a new and untested idea, but I really believe this game has huge potential. :: Currently seeking backing over at Indiegogo here. Our thanks to developer Kristo Eevardi for bringing the campaign to our attention.

Build a ship, complete a mission and wave it goodbye when your crew defect to the other side. Then design a new ship to hunt down those mutinous traitors in an endless cycle of punishment and revenge. Don't make that new design too good though, because odds are you'll be fighting it pretty soon. The game has two phases: Construction and combat. The construction phase involves placing a power core that determines the size of the ship that can be built, and then adding a selection of ship components. These can be placed, scaled and rotated in any arrangement and will operate according to game rules/physics, affording you a high degree of creativity. The combat phase involves you taking control of your ship from a top down 2D perspective and taking on enemy ships. If victorious, you move on to the next mission. If you fail it's back to the drawing board to design a new ship that might fare better. You will cycle between the construction and combat phases, creating and fighting in a continual progression through better and bigger ships as the missions and the story progress. After each mission, however, you will lose your ship to defection and will be forced to defeat your former crew in the following mission. This creates an achilles conundrum for the player. Build the perfect ship, but build in fatal flaws you can exploit later. :: Get it Kickstarted here.
Space Voyager
Limit Theory developer, Josh Parnell, is back from the void, as he posts at his forums. I'm both exceptionally pleased and...extraordinarily nervous to finally be returning to you after what must seem like ages to you all. For me, it seems more like a rather long, unpleasant dream. No doubt many, if not most of you, are pretty upset with my disappearance by now. Although I can't possibly take back or even completely explain away the 'dark months,' I really hope that shedding some light on it will help you all to understand why I've acted the way I have. Thorondor
Space Food Truck is a tongue-in-cheek, cooperative digital board game for PC, Mac, and Linux. Players work together to warp around a procedurally-generated galaxy of 100 planets in search of ingredients, then scramble to the planet craving each dish to complete recipe objectives. Finish every recipe before your ship falls apart to win. You start by picking one of four unique jobs on the food truck, each with their own play style. If you have less than 4 players, you'll get to control more of the crew (or all of it if you choose to play alone). Each character gets their own small deck of cards and a different job to do. Everyone will have to pull their weight if you want to win! Each turn you'll add new items, ingredients, and special abilities to your character's card deck. Choosing new cards wisely is critical to doing your job, crafting recipes, and surviving the escalating hazards of deep space. :: Get it Kickstarted here. Seeking Greenlighting here. Thorondor
Command a ragtag fleet of starships to escape an unbeatable enemy and save what's left of humanity. Inspired by sci-fi works such as Battlestar Galactica, The Lost Fleet series, and games like FTL, our strategy game will test your skills as a leader in times of great need. You are the captain of the last remaining battleship in the fleet. A relentless, overwhelming enemy has emerged to abduct your people. There's no time to colonize planets, negotiate with alien races, or build an empire. You're outnumbered, out-gunned, and low on resources. Knowing when it's time to fight or flee will be the key to saving the human race. Commanding your fleet and managing resources is only part of your job. You'll also need to lead a variety of personalities as you gather and protect a flock of civilian ships. Who you choose to elect onto your council will affect the entire fleet and alter the options available to you. Your leadership will either inspire loyalty and sacrifice, or drive your people to treachery and sabotage... :: Kickstart here. Seeking Greenlighting here.
