Trytols
Do you know this SCI-FI telefilm? I was so addicted to him! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFO_(TV_series) The SHADO is quite like an XCOM organization. Does some games on that series exists? Some of you heard something? A STRATEGIC xcom-style game with SHADO will be quite good imho!

It was also an inspiration for X-Com as well.
Sgt. Strike
Any idea where I can find this show online so I can watch it?
Grognard
Probably can't, it's not very well known. I got it through netflix, though.

Grognard
It was by the makers of space 1999 but it was much better. By the last few episodes it was just starting to get really good then it got canceled. You can see the influence in how the aliens worked. Don't want to spoil anything but there's a kind of mindblowing twist halfway in.
NKF
Shockingly mindblowing indeed! I just wish X-Com had the vehicle budget SHADO has. For those wanting a physical copy, you can get the R1 DVD complete set from Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Complete-UFO-Megaset...6652&sr=1-1 Or look up your local Amazon for DVDs in your preferred region coding. - NKF
Zombie
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fN2_iAOGdsI I just watched this and thought it was very interesting about why UFO was cancelled after only one season (as with most of Gerry Andersons pet projects). Seems he was more of a "one and done" mindset when it came to TV shows. Oh, and I never would have guessed the main male lead actor for the Space:1999 TV show was Martin Landau either except for where they were interviewing him when he was older. I seem to recall seeing this show here in the US, but I think I only caught one episode or something and it was a long time ago. I guess it's time for a Space:1999 watching binge. - Zombie
