Slotty Posted December 15, 2004 Share Posted December 15, 2004 My commander had the great opportunity to stun a Lobby Commander... Alien Colony... Put the commander in backpack, blows device to kingdom come.. runs like hell to entrance.. saves. returns home.. now the problem... in the breafing... 1 live alien... ( had brough me a Lobby Navigator too ) so i started wondering what the problem was... entered research... it was the navigator... loads mission... get rid of the navigator and returns home.. no alien alive... What the heck I thought... so.. hopefully i will get that commander soon or im going berserk... don't wanna restart again.. anyone who might think they know how to solve this.. should I get the next base and hope for the best? or to the not-so-fun thing and restart? / Angry Viking Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Not for cheating but to check out what the game files say you have.. get rid of anything you have allready researched. on the next attempt save before you stunn the commander. then if it glitches again you can send me a copy of the save and I might be able to repair the files so they work. -Blade FireLight Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Both navigators and commanders appear in the command center.im pretty sure its a commander if it says "Lobsterman Commander" when you click on it.. and there was 2 commanders 1 navigator.. 1 commander died ( strangely :angel: ) the second got stunned... so im sure its a commander.. but now its happened again.. cant get any live alien home alive.. even if they appear in the Mission debrief... sigh... gotta check the things tho.. Fox Posted January 4, 2005 Share Posted January 4, 2005 Haha... I see the problem here. He most likely MCd the Commander and then stunned it. REMEMBER: If you Molecular Control and alien and THEN stun it, it counts as one of your guys stunned, and wont come through as a Commander capture. Curiously enough, on a colony assault, if you've got any stunned soldiers, even on the exit pads, you tend to lose them as well. Have you tried dropping the alien onto the exit pads before aborting?
