Stun Grenade
An ape with a sea-diving helmet! HELP ME! "When Robot Monster was first released to theaters, it was so universally scorned and derided by reviewers that director Phil Tucker found it impossible to get any further work in the film business at all. Depressed and dejected, and believing that his acrimonious relationship with the film's producers resulted in their blackballing him in the industry, he attempted suicide by shooting himself, but missed." That is wierd.... he must have a bad aim..

Hobbes
Some time ago I discovered a page about this movie Lobstermen from Mars. The original page is dead which is too bad since you could see pics of it. Maybe TFTD's developers had a thing for bad science fiction movies

Strong Bob
Actually, both UFO and TFTD were heavily influenced by bad sci-fi. Since the first day I played it, it was pretty clear that it was intended to be a bit of a spoof. Just look at this... https://dynamic.gamespy.com/~xcom/images/x2x7x2.jpg

Bomb Bloke
UFO is made up of as much stereotypical stuff as possible. Comic book heros, big metalic armour, little grey men, mysterious hooded aliens, flying saucers, etc...
Hobbes
Don't forget the cows....
Bomb Bloke
They used deer... But yes, cows, or at least livestock, were mentioned. Save the cows!

Ross
It says somewhere that the movie's director got so depressed about the poor viewings of his movie, he tried to commit suicide by shooting himself. He missed.
