TabulaRasa
Im in the later stages of the game, 4 developing bases, mag ion armour, only need lobsterman commander for TLETH reaserch. Anyway, 2 REALLY weird things just happened, first, in a small sub, the biggest small size one (forgot name...), it was filled with Tasoths... wow, and in the right room, an aquatoid. A graphics error? or is the game screwing up? Also theres an alien sub floating right in the middle of africa... It hasnt moved for some time now... Anyone konw whats happening? Is this normal, or is my game about to die?
FullAuto
I know later on you start getting mixed crews, with members from the different races present. The USO in the middle of Africa sounds like a bug though.
Faskalia
Hmm sounds quite familiar: I once met an Deep-One under Water. (I am not speaking of the Lteth ones). It just seems that the game sometimes misses a digit, thus spawning the wrong alien. But this shouldnt screw up your whole game. At least it didnt screw up mine. Did you perform any cheats, hexing on/at/with your savegame. If not it can be considered a rare bug. The not moving uso: Well are you above number 255. I think, that several overflows are able to screw up your game but am not quite shure concerning this point. It might be a good idea, to tell a bit more about your game:Version, Date, Current Uso-number, current base-number etc.. If you can asshure that no overflow has happened its really strange. p.s. did you ever had a score overflow? If yes you know what it can do to your savegame. If you want one. Then just build up 2 bases with heavy defense and let the aliens dicover them. You will shoot down lots of battleships thus overflowing your score, making nearly all nations angry. Jman4117
To my knowledge, mixed crews only happen on land and ship missions. Sound like bugs to me.
FullAuto
Nah, because you can detect a USO with a 'Mixed' crew and shoot it down & go to the crash site. I'm not talking about crews where you have a normal alien species & a terorist species, there's USO's where you can have Gillmen & Tasoths, or Aquatoids & Lobstermen. Jman4117
Only terror ships though, right?
FullAuto
It can be any ship except the smallest scout, I think. It's mostly medium-sized USO's that get a mixed crew, in my experience.
Bomb Bloke
Mixed crews?
NKF
I've had battleships in UFO appear in February after starting a new game and all they did was hang about in the same spot. Shortly afterwards, the game would crash. If I reload prior to them appearing, the game runs fine. It's just a minor bug. Nothing to worry about unless it forces the game to crash like it did with mine. As for the mixed crews, seen em everywhere. And for wrong terror units appearing in the wrong setting, hey, even Xarquids can appear on ship missions in mixed crews. Wouldn't be surprised if the game accidentally spawns a deep one underwater. They normally don't appear underwater except in T'Leth. - NKF
FullAuto
Of all the weird things I've seen in TFTD, I've NEVER seen a Deep One underwater.
Jman4117
I haven't either, but I have seen Tricenes underwater and Xarquids on land.
