Mouse Nightshirt
'Lo guys and gals. Going through one of my yearly X-Com phases again. Have a question. On the PSX version, if an enemy unit was under mind control at the end of your turn when you had killed all other hostiles, the mission would end and the alien would be captured (very handy way to capture commanders and the like). However I've noticed on the PC version it doesn't do this. I wondered if anyone had a "fix" for that one?
Knan
Can't see that one anywhere. Suggest it to Seb76? https://www.ufopaedia.org/index.php?title=U...76#UFO_Extender
NKF
Stun rods. No, that sounds like one of the unique upgrades they added to the PSX release, which certainly makes up for its horrendous load times. - NKF
Zombie
Thread necro, but this is one of the reasons why I love playing the PSX version. Mission ending when all the aliens are stunned, dead or mind controlled seems so... right, right? It's a heck of a lot easier to end a mission on your terms on the PSX version than the computer. And it's a satisfying feeling when you daisy-chain MC a bunch of aliens on a map, hit end-turn and the after action report automatically pops up. Little things like that make me really happy. - Zombie
Wormburgerfish
I guess there's probably no easy way to fix it on the PC so that mind-controlled X-Com soldiers aren't missing in action at the end either?
Bomb Bloke
I'm fairly certain Blade got that going in XcomUtil 9.7.
