Spiritanto Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 I'm in a small dilemma. I have a Harvester UFO (landed) and a crashed Battleship. I have 2 skyrangers. The first Skyranger consist of experienced/battle-hardened Crew and the second one is relatively new (like 3-4 missions). I'm thinking of handling the landed Harvester first, and then the crashed Battleship with the SAME Skyranger. My question is how long do the crashed UFO remain? Strike Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 Actually, if you target the battleship with your interceptors, from what I hear, you can keep the ship there on for as long as you need to. Just use one interceptor at a time. I'd go with the furthest base from the ship, then the next closer, etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
NKF Posted January 22, 2011 Share Posted January 22, 2011 Did some tests starting new games and logging the approximate times from crash to when the crash site disappears for 4 UFOs and got: 2 Jan 0:00 - 5 Jan 2:30 18 Jan 15:00 - 21 Jan 6:00 12 Jan 17:00 - 15 Jan 4:00 1 Jan 16:30 - 4 Jan 6:00 I suppose I could've been more thorough and logged the UFO type and difficulty level as well and the exact minute that the UFO crashed rather than log by the half-hour. Roughly it looks like crashed UFO stay available for 3 days, so I would recommend going after the landed UFO first as that'll leave in a matter of hours. - NKF Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
