tijm6140 Posted July 17, 2003 Share Posted July 17, 2003 Ive started a game in tftd on beginner. the CE version so it is v2.0. Ive played for about 5 months. I have started around California. I have 2 wide range sonars. In total, i have detected 2 ships, of which one was probably a dreadnaught and the other was out of sonar range immediately. I have had 2 port attacks and 3 ship attacks around the start of every new month. Is this a coincidence, a bug, or am i doing something wrong. I have only encountered gill men and deep ones, and lobstermen and bio-drones. So I do not have any zrbite or aqua plastics and this is making the game very hard for me. Please help! NKF Posted July 18, 2003 Share Posted July 18, 2003 While I was putting together the TFTD Research Bug Avoidance Guide, I used X-Comutil to keep my monthly scores up so that I could keep testing the research but not have to bother with any tactical missions. Nope, I never once launched a mission once I started testing. Over the first nine game months, I only got a few artefact sites, but not one terror mission. Amazing? I don't know. For about the first 6 months I had at least two terror sites on the first day of the month. A port and a ship (sometimes two port attacks). Only had attacks on the 1st of the month. But now I am catching most of the terror ships before they get there thanks to the 6 transmission resolvers that I now have covering the globe.
