Can you confirm difficulty level after you start?

I started on Superhuman, but I find that I have things pretty well under control with only 3 bases. The Graphs have nothing exciting to show me, all alien activity is on its way down, I'm about to research the final solution and the final craft, although I'm certainly not ready to actually go there yet...

But anyway, it seems a bit easy, I don't think these little green biatches even have a base anywhere on the planet... is there any way to confirm that I'm still on superhuman?

I'm using the windows version I believe, so I think the difficulty glitch should not be affecting me...

The windows version has the bug fixed, but for your peace of mind, there are two ways you can confirm the difficulty level. Maximum number of aliens encountered or their stats.

With the numbers, it's still rather variable, but there's generally a larger number of aliens than you normally encounter on beginner. The Medium scout's a good one to test.

If you've got the mind probe, a quick scan of aliens' stats and referencing the alien stat sheet can be very handy. Armour levels are a good way to see if you're on beginner or otherwise. All other difficulty levels have the armour values at the normal values, but on beginner they are halved.

For the UFO crew numbers, check the individual UFO pages on:

The base stat sheet can be found on: https://www.ufopaedia.org/index.php?title=Alien_Stats

Well as usual, you never fail to deliver the info >:] I will check this out tonight. Thanks!!

I think maybe after this I should try a Superhuman IronMan TFTD game to see how long I can survive. If I could only just hex out those horrendous shipping lane missions :oh:
