Sunflash Posted June 6, 2010 Share Posted June 6, 2010 Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment has announced that Lord of the Rings Online will go Free-To-Play this Fall. Apparently feeling that the success of Dungeons & Dragons Online: Eberron Unlimited was a good indicator about where to take LotRO next, Executive Producer Kate Paiz has explained to the current community why, (roughly), this felt like a good idea. I'm not a news writer so that's as good as it'll get right now. Other links of interest: Turbine announcement to the current player-base. Well there's worse MMOs to bite your teeth on. Personally, I think it's been made a bit too easy over time; but it's certainly still 'easy' to get in over yer head too.
