Thorondor
:: Arma 3 is the most authentic military sim on the planet and Shack Tactical is one of the longest running communities of military role players in the game. Players meet every week to play out military scenarios and have "Serious Fun"... but in 2018, in what became one of their most legendary missions, things didn't quite go to plan... Space Voyager
PC Gamer's Edwin Evans-Thirlwell writes about the "micro-RPGs" offering new perspectives on the genre's overstuffed epics. I'd love to see smaller scale RPGs. I'm intimidated by the sheer volume (time consumption) of many of them and I do lose interest in a game that lasts for tens or even hundreds of hours per play. This is what killed it for me in Skyrim, a game I was really excited for but the excitement just kinda waned after a while as it was obvious my journey is at the beginning several hours into the game. Thorondor
I know what you mean, SV, some games just have a massive time sink associated with them and it's in part due to their own specific audience's expectations given brand name and genre trends. Hopefully you'll come to find Starfield just the right size to sink your teeth into when the time comes.

Was thinking that when I wrote the post... PC Gamer's Natalie Clayton writes about why Nuclear Throne is still the best roguelike around. Nuclear Throne and Teleglitch. I see no better. And after years of playing NT, I still play it.
