Zombie Posted November 13, 2009 Share Posted November 13, 2009 Just watched the Nightly Business Report and there was a short saying that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 set a new launch record for a game in a single day: 4.7 million copies sold worth $310 million. Link to article. No doubt, the reason why it's doing so good it because there isn't any competition from other game developers since everything it seems is delayed till 2010. What especially ticked me off was whichever station (probably ITV1) did a long piece on the news about WWI and then in an ad break a little later on you get an ad for CoD2.
