FullAuto
Apparently it's a game? Here's a demo. Does anyone know anything about it? Is it a puzzler or what? I consider $17 to be quite cheap, even if that does translate to approximately a billion pounds. Released on October 16th. Brave move, going up against Uncharted 2 in Europe. Even if they are on different platforms, different demographics, different price points, etc. The people behind it, Amanita Design, also did Samarost 1 and Samarost 2. Zombie
It's a puzzle-type of game. I played the demo a while back and it was pretty nice. As far as that, I don't know much about it. - Zombie
FullAuto
Oh, I see. You played the demo 'a while back'. When were you going to tell us about it? Were you going to tell us about it? I suppose you 'forgot' did you? A likely story.
Space Voyager
Have you been drinking, FA? Why the ferocious interest? Love puzzle games?
FullAuto
It seems to be talked about as if it's the next World of Goo (as in, a charming indie hit, not a sticky-blob-centric puzzle game), and it's going cheap, quality adventure games are rare these days and Zombie never tells us anything and yes, I may have had a teensy drop of alcohol but that's nothing to do with quality adventure game deprivation (QAGD, or "Gilbert's Syndrome" as it is known by some). Zombie
Well, I'm sorry. Gee, if I knew you were that interested I would have let you know about it. (Figured nobody cared and plus I did forget about it). - Zombie
Matri
I dunno, seems more like an adventure game to me. The hand-drawn graphics look to be quality prints.
Zombie
Well, it has an adventure element to it, but revolves around solving a puzzle to get to the next level. - Zombie
Azrael Strife
Looks an awful lot like some flash games I played a while ago, hand drawn artwork and animations, was really special, I wonder if those were made by the same developers. Stop hiding stuff from us, Zombie
FullAuto
Just hold him down while I cut him, boys. Nothing permanently disfiguring, just a little reminder not to leave the SC massive out of the loop!
Matri
He's a zombie, he'll probably not even notice...
Zombie
I'm already mostly dead so a couple more slices will not matter much. According to X-COM, fire is my only weakness - try that instead. - Zombie
FullAuto
I think it's slightly cheaper on Steam. It's a lovely game, full of charm and personality, and it's good fun into the bargain. Top stuff, glad I preordered.
Gimli
Just played through the demo, it's pretty fun.
FullAuto
Old-school frustrating lovely imaginative adventure game with a hint system for wimps. Robot hugs all round, people. Go and buy it and weep tears of oil.
Slaughter
Played the demo and bought it. Very nice!
