Level Cap?

Hello, everyone. I'm playing the allies campaign, every person in my squad is at lvl 16 and around 40% into it. I've done 3 missions and lots of random encounters and those bars have not moved at all, the console says they are gaining around 1,000 xp a kill but still nothing. Is something wrong with my game or is that really as high of a level as you can get?

Level 16 at 40% progression?! Wow!

You must have done A LOT of REs (random encounters )... I remember the 1st time I finished the original campaign my Hero was lev. 13...

 

Anyway, the enemy levels in REs are capped (I don't recall the exact numbers but something like 1, 3, 5, 7 etc.) depending on the chapter the player is in whereas the plot specific locations might have preset enemy levels as well as Hero lev. dependent (i.e. Enemy lev. = Hero lev. + 2).

 

As the player progresses the RE enemy lev. is set to a new cap.

 

So if you feel that your exp. bar is stalled, try to move the plot along a bit, until you get a new Chapter (region) on your big map.

Then do some REs after that.

You should see some changes in your experience acquisition.

 

 

You might also want to reduce the number of squadies you have at a time to increase individual exp. gains, as the exp is equally split between the group members.
