Azrael Strife
Is it me the only one surprised that a our good 65-year-old Harrison Ford is still going to play as Indiana? I'm relieved and scared at the same time. Relieved cause I cannot see anyone but Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones, and scared cause Hollywood has the horrible tendency to destroy my most beloved movies with very effectively-crappy sequels that go nowhere and do nothing but ruin good memories. What do you think? Despite all my fears, I'm SO going to go watch it, I'm sad that Sean Connery's not going to be there though, not that I'm that surprised, but he was a good character in the movies. FullAuto
Who else could do it? Shpielberg and Lucas are back as well, it might actually be good! It's been passed around for an awfully long time, though.

FullAuto
Valid points both, and I can't help but feel that Ford hobbling on screen with a zimmer frame may not be the Indy I remember, but I can hope!
Space Voyager
You can't expect Indiana Jones to stay young forever!
FullAuto
But equally, I did not expect Indy to end up as the mummy.
Slaughter
Horror induced joy... Regardless of how this ends up, I'm glad they didn't replace Harrison Ford. Even though I actually think "The Sum of all Fears" is a decent movie, it feels wrong with Affleck (as does most things with the fool).
FullAuto
Finally got round to seeing this. Bag of shite. Still, I saw it on the same day as The Happening, so the day wasn't a total write-off. Oh wait, it was. Damn.
Pete
I liked it. It was an enjoyable pile of cheese, as were the other three, to more or less the same extent. Re-watch the firt three and you'll see it's very much in the same vein. But with aliens. And John Hurt's easiest pay cheque by far for his three or four lines
Matri
Indy gets his obligatory one-on-one henchman brawl, and the real action scenes get passed on to the kid. I only realized this after the jungle scene.
Pete
Indy's not dead yet and Harrison's still got more mieage in him. The bit with the hat being blown across the church at the end though - I was about to injure someone if the kid put the hat on. He's too young yet and slightly too annoying in every film he's been in (the same character over and over which is fine unless you're also a tad annoying ). Pete
As was I with Star Wars when episode I came out. But then you re-watch them and they're all kids films. Indiana Jones is just the Goonies with grown-ups when you think about it. It's even more depressing when you realise that though
Knan
I liked it. They do get into the spirit of the thing.
