Gray Fox
I just finished my first terror mission ever in which there were no civilians... I thought that the terror sites always are crowded with civilians, hunted by the aliens. I think I've been through almost 100 terror missions in the past, but I've never encountered a civilian-free one. Besides, there were only 12 aliens (approx. 7 Snakemen and 5 Chryssalids), and 2 buildings (civ. houses). Is that normal? I'm sorry if there already is a topic about this, but searches are almost useless.
NKF
Our resident number crunchers have proved that it is possible to get a terror site with no civilians. It's a rare event, but certainly one that can happen. - NKF

Gray Fox
Thanks! Another strange thing just happened. I landed on a small UFO crash site, and moved my first soldier out (1 square). On the first square of the ramp, something (?) blew up and killed two soldiers and severely wounded 3 others. I checked the surroundings but I didn't find any aliens in vicinity. What could have caused that?
Knan
The infamous proximity grenade bug. https://www.ufopaedia.org/index.php?title=P...#Buggy_Behavior
Gray Fox
Yeah, that explains it. I think I used a proximity grenade in the mission before, but it never detonated. Thanks again! I must say, this forum is about the most helpful one I've ever visited!
