Gimli
I just want to say I've never seen such tight measures, police is all over the city. I was almost late for class when police stopped traffic to let some 20 busses with english fans through. I just hope both sides will behave. May the best team win. Sorbicol
I don't think I'll bother watching the highlights on Match of the Day You're lucky mate, I watched it all on Sky. It was the worst England performance I've seen since Graham Taylor was in charge. Dire........

Accounting Troll
It looks as if the English and Croatian Football Associations are being charged over a number of violent incidents surrounding the game https://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/i...als/6083120.stm England fans get involved in trouble in just about every game - this was relatively good behaviour by their standards. If England gets kicked out of the tournament, at least we will be spared the sight of those clowns losing to Israel in March
Gimli
Ugh, there's always some troublemakers at our matches who are only looking to pick a fight. I seriously can't understand such mentality, and the worst thing is that that minority then gives a bad name to the majority. If they're not at least respectful enough of other people, why are they doing this at a time when we're trying to get the EURO 2012 hosting? Somehow I can't escape the feeling it's being done on purpose... wouldn't be the first time. Sadly they don't get punished, the FA does. The interesting thing is that we have more trouble with these clowns on away matches. And the police there is never ready for incidents. Why don't our clubs and the FA warn the cities we're visiting? You bring a nice police squadron and they won't dare to do everything. They mostly don't misbehave here because police shows no mercy.Unfortunately, there were incidents in the game with Andorra which were tackled poorly (mostly just torches, but still), and we were under pressure to prevent that from repeating, so I guess the police got "over-excited" this time. One of these days UEFA will get tired of us and kick us out of a competition. Oh by the way, I think UEFA will just give England a slap on the wrist, maybe a fine of some kind, nothing serious.
