SgtPepper
First of all, yes, I'm a noob, but I love X-Com. Anyway, I've recently reinstalled it to my XP, and I got it to work fine, but when I get down to do missions, my mouse is moving too fast. I was hoping someone could point me to an easy to use, free slowdown program.

SgtPepper
I have used this in the past CPU Killer 2.0 -Blade FireLightThanks for the program. It works pretty good, but it has a 20 minute evaluation time for every time you activate it. Any other programs?

M. Hoz
Why not use Mo'slo? It's great if you know how to use it.You can get it in Home of the Underdogs The command line is basically:moslo.com /** *.*****=% of processor speed.*=filename.***=EXE\COM VERY effective. BladeFireLight
OK people we are talking about a XP sytem win the CE version of the game.. DOSBox does not run UFO:CE. Moslo does not work with XP, most slowdown utils dont... CPUKiller is one of the few.. It has been a while sence I tried using a slowdown util.. I found that with a 1800+ with the grapics fix (f0ders patch) that the internal speed controls worked fine.. but with my 2700+ the game was once again to fast.. I now play the DOS version using DOSBox because my cpu is fast enought for an emulator.. I actualy find it slow with TFTD.. (for DOSBox to run UFO DOS ok, you need a 1600+ or better CPU and set the Cycles to 9000) If I can remeber the names of any other slowdown program I will let you know.. -Blade FireLight
