LTNS
Some of these answers seem stupid, but lets all be honest. Has there ever been a time where you would just like to load an alian grenade up a civilians butt? or shoot a rookie who fell under mind control? Not to mention when you slave over everycountry in the world keeping them save at your expence but they still cut their funding? you bet there has been! kai
I'd vote for myself if I could, because I somtimes manage X-COM like David Brent
The Veteran
I find it hard to believe that noone's voted for Chryssalids but then neither did I They're my alien vote but overall I'd say it's the funding nations that tick me off
The Demi-Godly One
Civillians really tick me off, it's like they deliberatly run into the line of fire. :hmmm:
Terawatt_99
etherials, hands-down, they're the only alien that i'm remotely scared to go up against... i'll happily go against a battleship full of mutons, but damned if you're gonna get me to go in against a large scout full of etherials... JellyfishGreen
Naw, it's my ass-kicking Cydonia squad. When you luck onto a soldier with 90+ psi-strength and skill, even Ethereals will fear his name. Not to mention his psi-strengthened, BB-toting backup. Fox
Ethereals. I also hate Sectopods, but since they come with the Ethereals I voted for the caped losers.
Lonestar
Definetly etherals. Any alien who can take one my bases in 4 turns deserves to be hated and feared.
Mouse Nightshirt
Civvies! They run round in circle, get you lots of points lost if you or the aliens kill them, and look like... Etherals don't scare me! It's nice getting mind controlled. You feel all airy-fairy and relaxed apparantly
Rosstoid
Damn those funders! Damn you funders! How can anyone be stupid enough to sign treaties with creatures that mutilate their cattle, citizens, steal, murder etc, even after the peace treaty has been signed. Hobbes
Somebody should start the Chrysallid Conservation Society since we're all so fond of them!

Rosstoid
Thats great of you two. You can increase the ever-low Chrysallid population by allowing them to let you "host" some Chrysallid offspring.
PvT Emil Thorsell
civvies, no doubt, once i had 5 civvies running around in a circle for over 10 turns, at the 11 turn, a alien threw a nade in the middle of the screaming and panicking civilians. boom! i got a minus score on that mission.Thats why i say civvies. Ice2056
Ethereals, I've had entire squads wiped out by these buggers.
bevan
Ethereals are the worst because of their PSI abilities, so i switch PSI off, i hate it
Mouse Nightshirt
Oh yeah, I forgot to mention, mind controlling civies makes them evil! EVIL I TELL YOU! So instead of running away from the aliens, they run after you! FWWWAAARRGGGHH!!! EAT RABIES INFECTED NAILS X-COM!!!! YARARRRGGHH!
bevan
at least when that happens you dont get a negative point score for killing them
rocksk
Damn those funders! Damn you funders! How can anyone be stupid enough to sign treaties with creatures that mutilate their cattle, citizens, steal, murder etc, even after the peace treaty has been signed. It must be the funders, we worked hard and they throw us out. They expect their little bit of cash to help?
ApOcaLyPSe_1985
I hate 2 creatures actually: Ethereals and civilians. Those damn ethereals mind control you, even when they cannot see you. All my soldiers panic or get killed. I always hate those missions. Secondly, civilians. Why? Because they always get in my way. They are cannonfodder for my rookies. pocthesaint
Ok heres my spill... Ethereals can mind control you at any time... You can be sitting in your skyranger... You dont see them and they definately cant see you but what happens...mindcontrolled...everytime... agrh... And it even harder to film them!!!ha ha... nevermind... :hmmm:
rocksk
I find it hard to believe that noone's voted for Chryssalids but then neither did I They're my alien vote but overall I'd say it's the funding nations that tick me off Ethereals and civilians and funders, we cannot ready do anything to stop their action.Chryssalids! we fear them but we can also deal with them fair straigth forward. SHOOT them with big guns  Eten
10of40
I have to say I hate the mutons. Personally. I've seen them take 3 heavy plasma rounds and not drop. If it were a choice between Ethreals and mutons, I'd take the Ethreals any day of the week, provided I know my own PSI stats. Why? Ethreals drop in 1/2 hvy plasma shots, and carry their OWN heavys. Screening new soldiers is expensive, but so necessary.
Haijo
Ethereals. Damn Mindcontrols. CHRYSALIDS ARE EASY! I always arm ALL my men with Heavy Plasma(just let your engineers build 100 ammo, shouldn't take long with 50), and I can always kill them with one salvo! Boomer
Has been and always will be Chryssalids for me. Memories of my first mission vs them when I went in confidently with my Laser pistol toting dogooders in Personal Armour, and got summarily wiped off the face of the map, losing 2 guys to Sankeman fire and a full 6 + Tank to our grinning demon of doom :hmmm: Ethereals also gave me a munching first up but having encountered them and managing to stun one I proceeded to avoid them for a small while and get rid of anyone who had pants Psi Skill. After that it's only the lovely Sectopod to worry about OK maybe Ethereals aren't my favourite either......... Ah for those days of the floppy version when we didn't know what was coming next....... *sniff*.....good days. Boomer
