Praetoris
I just had to annoy some of the English football entusiasts out thereHow many years was it since the last time they succeded..38 or something? / Simon the Swede
Slaughter
Hehe, I wish you luck with another 38!
Pete
Not to dampen your spirits there, but our team sucks ass and has done for a while. Maybe not an excuse for the last 38 years, but certainly the last few world cups On the other hand, Sweden played very well and should have soundly thrashed us 6-3 but for that accursed cross-bar... good work. At this rate Sweden may get to the finals.
FullAuto
To be fair, on paper we have a very good team, but when it comes to playing in this World Cup we've been half-arsed. now we've got the bloody Argies, we'll need to really perform. No more relying on defenders to get the goals we need.
Accounting Troll
Don't forget that for the last five years, England have been stuck with a SWEDISH manager. England fans fear his shortcomings more than we fear the skills of Germany

Don't forget that for the last five years, England have been stuck with a SWEDISH manager.Svennis had a pretty nice position after all though, he could smile no matter which team won that match either his country, or his team
Accounting Troll
Are you sure you don't want him back? You can count on him to be totally loyal as long as nobody offers him a higher paid job elsewhere We'll even throw in Paul Robinson to sweeten the deal... Praetoris
I have a feeling he doesn't really need to work any more in his career + he's probably sick and tired of it all by now (especially if his team goes down hard again) I've heard the media and attention around football can be pretty...'agressive' in England? The Veteran
come on guys be fair. That was the first game our team has put in any effort at all. We deserved a win. Remember it was Sweden chasing England, never England chasing Sweden!
