vonzuchter
i play the game on the playstation. alien raid one of my bases and although i have weapons in the stores my aquanauts are without weapos on the mission. is it a bug? any help? i've researched all the items in the stores
Krabjuice
I'd recomend that you stop playing the playstation version, and upgrade to the shiny old PC version. Just mind you: if you get it off of an abandonware site, you will be molested by lobstermen on a regular basis. Think hourly.
Kratos
IMHO, PCs come with more flexibility than game consoles. Games from consoles are bound by the code created with the controls restricting it while you could find patches for old games such as Xcom 2. But to your question, most likely it is a bug, but nobody can determine this with little detail. ie: Sure this isn't the same base? Is it possible that your game loaded while you were not looking? (not sure if TFTD, let alone the PS consoles contain this bug like the PC version of UFO)

Bomb Bloke
If your stored weapons are assigned to one of your craft, they won't be available for base defense, IIRC.
NKF
No, actually, they do get unloaded for base defence. It's probably not so obvious in TFTD, but it certainly happens in UFO. Â vonzuchter, what are you keeping in storage? Â - NKF

vonzuchter, what are you keeping in storage?  - NKF  sonic cannons and rifles along with ammo. some pulsers 2 medikits and zrbite. i think that the only way to have weapons in defence on the psx version is to have a triton sub on the base. soldiers use the equipment in the triton. items in the stores are not available i think. deant
well ive got the psx version and base attacks transfer all weapons from the triton or whatever transport sub you have and not from stores as previously stated that exact reason is y i sell all weapons except afew rifle and cannon clips
Kratos
Be sure to empty out excess equipement for more room vonzuchter. And 1 corpse per alien is needed.
Bomb Bloke
Once you start the research projects, you can then sell all corpses. No need to assign scientists until you actually want the things researched.
