xafan
Both my psi and cyborg resources are in the neg and I realized my income seems to never move, even when I take over new areas with mines. My cyborg income is like 40 and yet I have tons of areas that have cyborg resources. Am I doing something wrong? Is this a bug? Slaughter
Take a look at the guide here. It should give you the tips you need to gain resources.
komplex
Yeah, read through that WHOLE guide.. It really helped me out.. I was allways in the NEG also.. I didn't realize that I didn't have to build tracks to every province to get the resources there.. You only have to build tracks from base to base.. That was what was killing me.. Adie
The more knowledge you have in a base the more resources you yield. I had all the bases that were gathering alien materials full of collages. I was gaining +156 alien materials from one base alone. At the moment i have 500k normal resources, 300k advanced resources and 150k alien resources and im just slight past the wargots mothership assault. Also when you have huge amounts of normal material you can give the Cyborgs or the Psionics 20k normal materials to get their deplomacy from neutral to full then take materials off of them. They will give you about 10k of advanced resources or alien resources for your 20k normal resources.
cyrus
I didn't realize that I didn't have to build tracks to every province to get the resources there.. You only have to build tracks from base to base.. That was what was killing me.. From what I can understand, if I get the resource territory belonging to the country whose capital is not in my posession, I won't recieve resources from it even if I build tracks to that province. I need to get the capital and link it to the transport net. Is that correct?
ShadoWarrior
You do get resources from a territory with a track in it, regardless of whether you have the territory's parent base. You just aren't required to put a track into that territory if you do have the appropriate base.
cyrus
Thanks. I thought tracks are only for connecting bases.
