Tammy
Well, Warlord was far more replaceable. 'Meet new Warlord, same as old Warlord'Rocket-jockeys don't need impressive stats, but my best female scout/UFO stormer does And I thought it was because it was me. Dumb_Commander
Recently I started to change the soldiers names to the Movie protagonists, like one of my soldiers (I dont remmember his name right now) had hell of a HP points while he sometimes survived the most dangerous situations, due to that I named him... John McLane. (Die Hard)
Pete
Tammy doesn't need impressive stats because she's got laser-beam eyes like Cyclops from X-Men - why do you think she's wearing shades in her avatar? One look at an alien and they're toast, she's that good
Dumb_Commander
Pete, I know that already, and this is not the topic for the discusion of Tammy, this is disccusion of soldier names so, even if your the main administrator, stay to the topic at hand, please. Pete
*Slaps own wrist* Okay On superhuman I don't generally name my men as, without saving, I'd see too many "friends" die. Besides, the system does gome up with some cracking names on occasion - a Rookie from my Delta Prime base in South East Asia goes by the name od Patrick Stewart for example, and I swear down I didn't fiddle with the name. I only hope he kicks ass as much as you'd expect him to
Gimli
I have him too. I had another one with an interesting name, but can't remember what it was anymore.
Accounting Troll
I trust he's a little thin on top when you go into the soldier equipment screen I don't bother renaming my soldiers, but I do include their psionic defence statistics, if known. Soldiers with low psionic defence values tend to get the most dangerous jobs
Pete
Indeed. When you get to the point where you get Psi labs, you tend to have a lot of folks at a lot of bases. I always put an asterisk after the names of my best psi people and ship the crap ones off to remote bases.

Tammy
Why else would my best female soldier be named Tammy? You are too sweet, Carlos! DC, don't scold Pete, please. He was just being sweet. As for changing the names, it does make one a little more conscious of losing soldiers....
Bomb Bloke
Besides which, any topic here incorporates Tammy by default. Hence I tailored my signature in order to keep up.
