Destroyed wargot mothership

hi, i wanna ask if there is any ending to this game like in UFO:AM ,because i have destroyed wargot ship,researched all technologies and now i'm just defending from starghosts.

 

i tried to eradicate cultists since they dont have wargot buddies anymore but hell,they respawned again

my squad is all about lvl 19 and its starting to get boring

 

can anyone help me?

Not long after you destroy the Wargot mothership, other stuff will happen and you'll get some more research. Do you have all labs? Might be that there's a research you haven't done yet? If you need to check out the research tree, you can find two here.

Basically, the rest of the game is your troops trying, and failing, to sate their massive bloodlust by slaughtering cultists and other aliens wholesale.

 

Oh yeah... there's some "plot" thing too, but that's really secondary to the righteous cleansing.

i was wondering if the event "starghost appearance" is something like meeting wargots for the first time or if its just encountering starghosts in battle.

because i need that event to press on with research

It should be encountering the Starghosts in battle, although you might have to wait until you can detect and/or research the Starghost (second wargot) ship.
