Skarek
I have a small bug question. There are some research stuff you need to have special items to be able to research. For example AP-ammo. I seem to have the problem that the game have missed that i have sertaion weapons. Examples are the AP ammo. I have 5.56 ammo (both AP, Fle and normal) but still there is a red X on that point. The same thing happens to my batteries (i own batteries but the game gives me a red X). Is this a known problem? Are there any work around? I have wondered if the game doesn't like that i got both 5.56 and batteries really in the game (*spoiler* picked it up from dead allies*spoiler*) or if there is somthing with the research requirements i have missed. "Is this a known problem? Are there any work around?" This is, indeed, a known problem. The workaround (for AP ammo) is as follows: on the next tactical mission you undergo, take a Barret with you and drop it on the ground before the mission is over. This will make the ammo blueprint available post-mission. Note that you are also required to have 7.62mm non-NATO weapons and ammo (7.62x39mm, not the 7.62x52mm NATO) in inventory to be able to research AP ammo. :: And welcome to Strategy Core, Skarek! Skarek
Thank u. It seems my men will have quite full backpacks on their next misison. Alot of ammo and weapons to place on the ground Without getting any spoilers from you. To research advanced Human weapons, I need an advanced human weapon. I guess this is none of the weapons you can research in your basic labs? I have all of them, but cant research on. SO I have to find some kind of new weapon on a map so my scientists understands that they should stop slacking and start working, right? Finally one more question. Are there a bug with the alien autopsy and the glossary? I thought ou should get some information about the aliens to appear, but i got nothing. I also think it is strange that i have nothing on psionics and cyborgs in there (i have some of them in my team). Only info about humans and some mutants. Thorondor
"To research advanced Human weapons, I need an advanced human weapon."(...)"So I have to find some kind of new weapon on a map so my scientists understands that they should stop slacking and start working, right?" That's about right, yes, Skarek There are two main ways to acquire advanced weapons (thus unlocking the required research): - Undertaking missions in Cultist territory (they have many advanced weapons and accessories)- Recruiting high-level soldiers from the other factions (as they come with great gear) And, as you suspected, advanced weapon blueprints will demand Advanced Weapon Labs. :: "Are there a bug with the alien autopsy and the glossary? I thought ou should get some information about the aliens to appear, but i got nothing." As far as I know there is no bug with autopsy/glossary items. With time (and additional research) other topics will be gradually unlocked. p.s.: and good luck getting things through those scientists' thick skulls...
