*spoiler?* Laputa enhancement

I actually made this decision a while ago, but have no idea which is better.

 

In my future games, should I go for Laputa Speed or Laputa Range? This time I went speed.

Speed no doubt. If you have to move 4 extra centimetres on the map because of a lesser diameter, that's no problem. If your Laputa crawls over the globe when you have bases all over, that is a problem.

I went with speed myself as well. It just made more sense. Now, if someone tells me tha the increased range is actually 75% of the globe, I'll know I was wrong

Range is better. A mission will stay on the Geosphere long enough for you to make a full circle of the globe, so Speed isn't really that practical. Range allows you to cover A LOT more ground.

I went for speed. By that stage my territory was pretty widespread, so I thought that being able to quickly respond to a mission halfway across the globe would be an advantage.

For those that like to work with numbers, this could actually turn into a nice debate regarding the distance where one option is better than the other.

 

Even tho speed will make the Laputa faster, the added range will give it a head start over the prior option. It would be interesting to know how much more speed you gain and how much more range you gain for such a comparison.
