ricardo440
Alas it doesn't stop the fact that every single time I finish the first wargot ship mission the game hangs on the replacement geosphere screen.
MJ1504
Every time I try to run the patch I get an error code 999!

Slaughter
Patch installed fine for me. Didn't test to see if the crashes stopped however. Accounting Troll
Looking at this link on the official forum, some issues remain unfixed and one or two NEW bugs have been introduced. Some of the soldier skills statistics get swapped around if you apply the patch to a saved game. I'm holding off on applying the patch until they patch it because I don't want my top ninja accidentally cutting his own head off
Crazy Gringo
It's gametime.... All enemies are asked to line up in a nice long row infront of the MG armed people. If you feel a sight stinging sensation then please do not bother to scream because by then it will already be over. *Grabs his M60 and starts firing wildly*
Preda
The moment I opened Opera I KNEW it wass out. Downloading and trying out. It was a good idea not to start a new game before the patch came out!
Paranoid Jack
Burning my entire game directory to a DVD before installing the patch. I want to play it safe on this one. Though my patience with the crash-to-desktop has reached its end.
Paranoid Jack
Well, I can confirm the patch screws up the character skill levels. My two best Commandos were Heroic & Super Heroic in Speed. Now both are listed as Poor. But they can still run like juiced up track stars.

Obrońca Słoni
Hi to All!As you all see, I am new on the forum. Like all of you I have waited long for this patch. I've found more bugs, that are propably seen only in the Polish language version of the game (to be clear, I am Polish, anyone else from Poland here?). One of the bugs that piss me the most: The base names dissapear! There are only blank spaces where the city names should be! The second rather minor bug is with the names of the trainings. Of course i think that these are also ooly in the Polish version of the game. The Technician is now called the same as the medic, and the medic is now called a Doktor. The gunner became a runner, and the soldier is now a gunner. It said in the readme, that this patch is for all language versions, but it isn't localized correctly! I'll tell if i find more bugs, couse i culdn't stand these and i don't play the game becouse of my anger! BTW. Does anybody know if a Polish version of the patch going to be released? And sorry for any language mistakes i've made. You know, I'm not that good in english.
Slaughter
Sorry to hear that Obrońca Słoni. These problems are not present in the English version of the game. I've attached the English localization file, if you'd like to use it instead. LocalizationPack.zip (for version 1.1 of the game) Make sure you backup your own localization file before you add this one!
Obrońca Słoni
Thank you Slaughter. But i hope that the Polish distributer of the game will make a Polish version of the patch. If the language bugs will ittitate me to much, then I might use the localizatoin you gave. I understand that i can change the localization of the game in any moment without any errors in the saved games?
Slaughter
Yes, I believe you can. I'll not guarantee it however, as I haven't tried myself. It is also possible to use the modding tool to customize the Polish localization file yourself, and thus fix the bugs. That's a little work however. I suggest you send an e-mail to Cenega.pl and tell them about the problem.
Obrońca Słoni
Well I've send an E-mail to Cenega.pl, questioning will there be a Polish version of the patch, but the idea of trying to use the modding tool is not bad. I'll download it and try to do something. BTW. Is there any tutorial for this tool?
Slaughter
Well, the readme coming with the tool should give you the basic idea. Besides that, there are some Aftermath tutorials in the modding forums. Might get something useful out of them.
