Thorondor
The publishing agreement with Trisynergy is finally starting to show its effects and UFO: Aftershock is now listed for ordering at Amazon.com ! Hopefully this will make it easier for many a States-side gamer to get his hands on the title.

Slaughter
Thanks for the heads up iggy5540! This is good news indeed! The game is dangerously addictive considering how close my exams are...
Pete
Slaughter - I'd suggest you give it up for your exams mate as just when you think you're nearing the end something else crops up to surprise and challenge you with this game... ...I mean, I'm genuinely loving the storyline as it gets more and more complex. Anyone with one alien ship in orbit and worrying about that has NOTHING to worry about compared to what I'm seeing. This could go on for some time... Cpl. Facehugger
Hehe, have fun Facehugger. Tell us what you think when you played it Well, I've just spent the past few hours downloading the demo, and let me say that I like. Very purdy. The performance (on the demo) is kind of skippy though... even with my rather beefy gaming computer, the very same computer that chews through things like FEAR and Q4 without problems. I must say that I really like what I've seen so far, which brings me to my next question: Is it available in stores, or is it online only in the States? 'Cause I've got an EB nearby that I could go to, otherwise I'll have to wait until after intercession to play it, because my laptop is too weak to play. Slaughter
EBGames should have it in the stores as well, but I've heard that there's no guarantee that the individual store does. I suggest you call them to see if you can. As for performance, the game is heavy to run at times. I mostly have no problem, but sometimes the physics engine goes berserk. It's much better after the first patch, but still not perfect.

It's much better after the first patch, but still not perfect. Apparently it seemed choppy because... err... I was too stupid to realize that it was pausing every time something happened. Once I took off that for everything except really important stuff, it wasn't nearly as bad. I'll check at the EB in my area. Otherwise I might be forced to lug my tower back home.
