Strong Bob
Wait... Cyclotouriste? Does this man not appear the least bit familiar to any of you!? (Not kidding)
Bomb Bloke
The last few days have been a bit out of the ordinary for me. To start with, some prat got into my StrategyCore account somehow other, and hid some virus loading code into our forum headers. As a result, I currently don't have my admin rights (for security), and Pete's had to do a hasty upgrade to make sure things are once again safe. Today I logged into my email to discover that another prat had set up a fake hotmail server and used my email address to send out spam via a spoofing technique (which most ISPs are supposed to disallow). With enough bad luck, this could potentially lead to the closure of my email account, which I've had for nearly a decade. After getting out of work today, I discovered it to be raining. Well, actually I discovered a thunderstorm, and me without my umbrella had to walk home through it. I tried running, but for once in my life it seems I'm out of shape, and after a few minutes on a steep incline I had to stop. The urge to puke lasted about quarter of an hour. I get home soaked, and sit down in front of my computer. My landlords boxer dog decides to use my as a drinking bowl, but gets the idea after a couple of gentle shoves. At about this point I discover that overworking myself in the cold wet has made my asthma flare up for the first time in well over a year. And then I sit down and trace the thread history back to Lonely Planet, which I never read the first time round. Can't get the grin off my face. Anyway, thought I'd compile a few links while I was at it: Cyclotouriste's ResumeWeb guide to CyclotouristeCyclotouriste's BookCyclotouriste's Attempt to Save America He most likely won't be back here, anyway. He's too funny to ban, though, even if his posts might require large amounts of censuring.

Bomb Bloke
Nah, I'm just telling the story from one side, for the sake of drama.
sir-roosio
I also had the priviledge of teaching English to leaders of departments of Beijing municipal government Interestingly, at the time I had been elected to the board of directors at the Martin County literacy Council Oh the irony! Strong Bob
Let's not forget his drastic overuse of caps...
Accounting Troll
It seems to be a law of nature with the internet. Anybody who accuses another poster of being illiterate or who claims to have a high standard of literacy always makes a careless spelling mistake in his post, thus providing much harmless merriment
Strong Bob
*Shrug* I could argue that "high" is not synonymous with "perfect".
Bomb Bloke
A lot of people spell 'grammar' as 'grammer', so they slip up right away...
