Recommended Posts

Our first of four "Creating Aftershock" newsletter is now online!

Two days after it's initial release via email to our subscribers on Friday, you can now view the full newsletter on our website HERE and see what you've been missing out on!

Higlights include a chat with Robert Hoffman of ALTAR Interactive, some exclusive artwork, some sound effects from the game itself, a competition with some fantastic prizes (see below) and much, much more!

Competition!

We're having a HUGE competition based around Aftershock in which you could win the following:

First Prize: UFO Aftershock signed Special Edition game AND original boxed US copy of X-COM UFO Defense - a rare collector's item!

2x Runners Up: UFO Aftershock normal edition, unsigned.

All three winners will also receive a UFO Aftermath t-shirt and poster. Full competition details, along with the five easy questions, can be found in our newsletter at the above link.

If you have any suggestions for our newsletters, please let us know! If you want more of something or less of something else, or even something completely new, we'd like to hear from you. You can send us feedback HERE - just be sure to select "Newsletter Feedback" from the dropdown list.

Finally, many thanks to Jiri Rydl and Robert Hoffman of ALTAR Interactive, as well as FullAuto and Accounting Troll of StrategyCore for their efforts.

Didn't know that the original UFO Enemy unknown was a collectors item??

Do you know how much it sells??

I could be tempted to sell my copy if the price is right.

And you can also ple-order the game for just 29.99 Euro with free delivery at www.play.com

At least that's what i did and its cheaper to amazon.

Well I actualyl obtained this copy from Ebay - didn't cost too much, but that's because I did that "buy now" thingy they sometimes have.

At any rate, the box has only received minor dents (presumably through shipping) and the contents are in pristine condition. I could get a lot more by just putting it back on Ebay, but I bought it to use as a competition prize after all :D

As for play.com - yes they are cheaper, but we're linking to Amazon.com as 5% of each sale through our linking to them comes back to us and gets put back into this site. It's a shame play.com don't have a similar affiliate scheme ;)
