Collapsible Weapon/ No retracting after shooting?

Hi! Sorry for my english:

 

So i'va got the Problem, that these collapsible Weapons will be retract agein by the soldier after shooting.

Isn't there a chance to get this weapon "stationary" for a while?

I'm afraid not. It's quite annoying, I know, especially when you want them to stay out and wait for other enemies.

 

I don't think it was changed in any of the patches, though I'm sure someone will be able to confirm that shortly.

If you apply the latest patch, and then kneel, the weapon will stay deployed.

Just out of interest Slaughter, do you know off the top of your head what languages are the latest patch available in? I'm guessing Ferranti won't want the English patch

I think this was included in the 1.3 patch (1.4 being the latest), and I believe it is available for most languages.

I can confirm that the change was made in the 1.3 patch and retained in the 1.4 patch.

Note that only human soldiers can remain deployed and that you CAN'T leave the weapon deployed for another soldier to ride

Correct me if I'm wrong (not at my PC with aftermath to check), but I thought you can't kneel in heavy armour, as heavy armour is needed for the collapsable rocket launcher. Am I doing something wrong? :/

After 1.3 the kneel command can also be used for units with the heavy armor + turret combo to remain deployed.
