sir-roosio
I, Sir Roosio, would hereby like to declare my support for the England Cricket Team at the Third Npower Ashes Test at Old Trafford, Manchester. The series currently stands at 1 all. CUMMON ENGLAND! The aforementioned Sir Roosio would also like to invite anyone to leave their own messages of support for either England or Australia underneath. A live scorecard is currently available here . If you don't understand scorecard. . .tough, I really can't be bothered to explain it. Thankyou
FullAuto
Although I am British, and cricket is as British as tea and crumpets on the lawn and thereby part of my innate Britishanity (no, not a real word, be quiet), I just don't understand it. Never played it. Never will play it.
sir-roosio
OK fullauto. . .messages of sheer befuddlement at cricket are also cordially invited to attend! And I'm sure, being british, you've played the garden version 'french cricket' at least once in your life? surely?

Accounting Troll
Come along England. Show Australia how the game is played. Hold on though, if England wins the series then all those football hooligans will start polluting cricket matches, just like they did to rugby after England won something there. We should change the law so instead of preventing them from travelling to see England play away, we prevent them from returning to Blighty. sir-roosio
Stun grenade, Thankyou for posting. It's been a darn good series so far, and its nice to see the values of sportsmanship and gamesmanship that make cricket what it is being uphelp, even on this board!. Hold on though, if England wins the series then all those football hooligans will start polluting cricket matches, just like they did to rugby after England won something there hmmm, cricket hooligans. Hard to imagine chavs in replica england wooly tank-tops trashing the high-streets of britain, but it may happen. Spin-bowling half-bricks through shop windows & bowling yorkers at the riot police. Oh, and while we're on the subject - It's look-a-like time!https://specials.rediff.com/cricket/2005/apr/07cric15.jpg(above) 70s wierdo rocker Frank Zappa https://www2.memenet.or.jp/~ken/hello_g/zappa_big.jpg(above) Aussie bowler Jason Gillespie

Stun Grenade
Go Zappa!! Eh whats been happening with cricket... I have to admit I haven't tuned in in a while. @ Matri... rugby is the worst sport. Down here it is at least. It's either AFL Football, Cricket or Soccer (soccer will be big this year; new league)
sir-roosio
Fourth Test, First Day, at trent bridge. England have one the toss (NO: Fullauto, just leave it, there were NO biscuits involved!) and elected to bat. It is luchtime, the score stands at 96/0 after 19 overs (if you don't know, thats actually quite good). . . GO ENGLAND!!!! As before, any messages of support for either side, or statements of sheer confusion over cricket are Doubley welcomed!
FullAuto
I don't know, perhaps it's just because of where I grew up, but cricket just doesn't interest me at all. The social stigma associated with it also puts me off.

sir-roosio
No, no, cos one was called jimmy cricket, and one was jiminy cricket, but i can never remeber which one was which! Ones a highly animated little creature, and the other is a disney character! but i always get them confused. Anyway (clears throat) WE WON THE FOURTH TEST, WE WON THE FOURTH TEST, WE WON THE FOURTH TEST, WE WON THE FOURTH TEST!!!!! ahem, sorry.

sir-roosio
Final Day, first innings ended with england 6 runs ahead. Failing a total batting collapse in the second an Aussie victory seems unlikely! A win or a draw will secure The ashes for our boys! Cummon England!
