Stun Grenade
I'm so relieved that the Shuttle landed safely!! It looked pretty sweet watching it live until 2min to go. Thats when all the American's logged on and I couldn't watch/hear a thing! Who else saw it?
Kernel
I watched it live too. Glad it landed OK. Now I hope they get their asses in gear and get the next generation of space craft developed instead of messing around with a flawed 30 year old craft. Don't get me wrong, the Shuttle design sounds great in theory, but in practice it's turned out to be a huge money sink that's costing NASA stupidly huge amounts of money compaired to other launch methods. It's a shame that right now it's the only way america has of getting crew to the ISS.
Pete
Who was the chap who launched that rocket using vegetable oil or somesuch simple product? I'm sure the world's got enough of it To be honest though, these flaws will keep occurring as NASA has to put it's contracts out to tender as does any other big company, and you know they won't be picking the most expensive or reliable parts to get the job done
