Star Trek: Birth of the Federation I prefer UFO: Aftermath to X-Com because you never get to a point where you just can't lose. In X-Com, missions can become tedius once you've got a couple of good telepaths. I can't believe that UFO: AM, Colonization (a Civilization spin-off) and Star Trek: Birth of the Federation never made the IGN list. Top 5 with no particular order: - X-Com (all 3 for various reasons)- Half-Life- Fallout (1 & 2)- Master Of Orion- System Shock (both) and would love to see System Shock 3 on the Source Engine Some more i couldn't fail to mention: - Jagged Alliance- Star Control II- Syndicate- Homeworld- Sam & Max- Day of the Tentacle- Grim Fandango- R-Type (for the Spectrum)... Vandal hearts PS1 ......... RPG ultra on PSX 4. PARADROID C64 fabulous top down battle adventure on space ships, no save in those days!! 5.
