Stardock Entertainment announces Sorcerer King:

This is a new kind of 4X. In traditional strategy game terms, the bad guy has already won – civilization lies in ruins, and twisted monsters roam freely through the scattered wreckage.

Not satisfied with his victory, though, the evil Sorcerer King is bent on destroying the world in his quest to become a god himself.

Sorcerer King is built around the concept of asymmetry. Your goals (kill the Sorcerer King) are wholly different than the Sorcerer King's goals (destroy the shards and therefore the world). The rest of the game revolves around this central concept.

The Sorcerer King doesn't play by the same rules – he operates on a completely different level than your scarce resources allow you to. A sophisticated "Game Master" AI controls his forces and other events in the world, managing pacing and generating threats to ensure an engaging game from start to finish.

Sorcerer King is now available via Steam Early Access and 15% off until October 16th. Release date for the full version slated for 'early 2015'.

Choices are given to Might & Magic Heroes VII fans which are to opt for either the Dungeon or Inferno factions to be in the game. Options end not there, though, as a collector's edition figurine is also awaiting your vote.

Why not fucking both? Oh wait - here comes the DLC!!!!! Glorious DLC !!!!!!

Dominus is a multiplayer browser strategy game. Players grow in power by attacking another player's castle. Conquering someone's castle makes them your vassal. Vassals send their lord part of their income. If everyone in the game is your vassal or a vassal of your vassal then you are the Dominus.

Dominus is a slow strategy game that is designed to not require a lot of time to play. Army movement and resource gathering happen slowly over time. Login, give your armies their orders then check back in a few hours.

The game is able to support any number of people. As more people join the map grows creating a larger gameplay space.

Game 6 is currently running. It started 2 days ago.
