I read his cool autobiography, "If Chins Could Kill". It's sweet! He tells stories about growing up as a film-freak, and how he and Sam Raimi were buddies and always making movies everywhere. He also talks about the making of the first Evil Dead. They used Vaseline-covered plywood strips as dollys for the camera! They'd put the camera on another, smaller piece of wood and put that on the Vaseline, then slide the camera around to get smooth dolly shots.
