scg
Cool; cheers. I'll investigate AM and AS, then, as soon as I have a PC that will run them (I still have the same PC I got the year after Apocalypse came out). - Shaun
Slaughter
Nice timeline! Finally found the time to read it. I have put lines under a few words/sentences that I found odd or wrong though. Look into it when you find the time. Regarding the FAQ, it looks fine! I'll notify you if I can think of more that should be added (I changed SS to S2, as S2 and S3 are the correct short versions for Silent Storm and Sentinels). FullAuto
Typical. scg writes it, Pete passes it to me and muggins has to check it.
Bomb Bloke
Do we still have the time line on the site proper, or did that get trashed in the move? Though this looks longer, at a glance...
Slaughter
@FA: Who are you calling muggins! @BB: Pete probably have it somewhere, but I'd rather we put up this one if it's more extensive.
FullAuto
@BB: I'm pretty sure it's the same one, it just looks longer on here. @Slaughter: Uh...me? Oh, and stop discussing this in the FAQ! There;s a fanfic FAQ feedback thread below!Gawd Demmit!
Slaughter
Yeah, sorry . Maybe you should add a link to the discussion in the FAQ?

scg
Nice timeline! Finally found the time to read it. I have put lines under a few words/sentences that I found odd or wrong though. Look into it when you find the time. Sorry to be dense, but where is this corrected version? I'm sure any changes will be fine, but I'm unsure where to look - didn't see any underlines on the version in the FAQ... I may have just missed them. It is gone, and I suspect FullAuto is the reason . It was just a few repeated words and the likes, and he probably fixed it. Ask him if you want to know exactly what, provided he can remember. Nothing wrong with the storyline itself. Well done to you all!
thecyke
Bah, you rookies have forgotten to include in this timeline the scenario from "Ultimate Civilization 2 - Classic Collection" in the "Fantastic Worlds" scenario, where X-Com forces have to do...something....been a long time...hmm, might have to reinstall this and check. All i can remember was how awful a cash-in it was!
FullAuto
I have indeed corrected the few small faults underlined. Small niggles, I assure you, scg. Nothing serious.
Accounting Troll
The X-Com Civilization2 scenario was set about a decade after Enemy Unknown. They found eight alien bases on one of the Martian moons, so they sent three avengers full of X-Com troops out to deal with the aliens. As I recall, it was entirely focussed on combat instead of city/empire building. As it was a scenario for an entirely different game, I don't think it counts in the official timeline even though both games were developed by Microprose. Might be an idea to list X-Com scenarios and mods for other games somewhere on the site though.
