GregDude
Is there any way to adjust the difficulty level after starting a campaign? I wouldn't mind changing the difficulty setting, but I don't feel like playing the first bunch of missions over again.
Slaughter
If it can't be done from ingame, you'd probably have to edit the save file. Sadly I have no idea how to do that. Hopefully some of the others do. Welcome to the boards!
DoomMunky
What's up, GregDude, welcome to the forums! I was asking basically the same question over in another thread, as I'm in a similar predicament. I think I'm just going to bite the bullet and restart, but I'm only about 4 missions in... Maybe if we whine loud enough, some of those smart modder-type-fellows will take mercy on us and throw us a bone.
GregDude
Thanks for responding. I have had a brief look at the save game files, however, the way the game data has been serialized makes them extremely difficult to work with. It would take me longer to create the tools I'd need and make the changes, than it would to restart the game. I think I will persist with the game, and if it becomes frustratingly difficult on occasion, I can use the built in cheats to get by if necessary. DoomMunky
I'm totally restarting today. I'm not going to make the AI dumber, I'm just going to drop the relative enemy level. They're too dang tough at +3 levels!
