FullAuto
That looks interesting. I'm sure I've heard good things about Memento Mori, too.

Sunflash
Sounds more like a horror thing than an adventure game. *clocktower flashback* ALK:DSG!!!
FullAuto
I know Clocktower, I don't know ALK:DSG. Hella confused.
Sunflash
ALK:DSG is supposed to be my head hitting the keyboard as I faint from panic. The fact that it now looks like an acronym is just becaues I'm awesome even when I freak out.

FullAuto
If you don't know who Jane Jensen is, you do now, and her newest title, the released-this-year-for-about-the-past-five-years Gray Matter, is out in February next year. Or, now, if you're German. This version comes with an English language option.
Thorondor
I still have some fond memories of Gabriel Knight: Sins of The Fathers from way back when. :: I do hope we'll get something extra for the waiting apart from due patching...
FullAuto
I recently bought the trilogy again on GOG, and they are still quite good. I think we're just lucky to see Gray Matter at all, Thorondor. IIRC, it's changed publishers a few times, which usually signifies production Hell. I wonder how her novels are? Dante's Equation sounds good.
Thorondor
Aye, we should be counting our blessings. FullAuto
Sure I remember playing that. Was a bit shoddy but surprisingly engrossing up until a certain point, which destroyed my suspension of disbelief.

FullAuto
I am not shocked. It's been long enough in development that you know it won't be perfect but it will be well worth playing.

Azrael Strife
Playing it. Definitely old school stuff, I love the pixellated artwork, good stuff, voice acting is decent and the story engaging thus far.
Thorondor
Nice to hear you're enjoying it, AS. While adventure games are 'interactive' (discovery, object usage, puzzles, etc), it's usually the story, the setting and the characters that make or break them. :: You simply don't want to stop playing until you get to the bottom of "just one more plot".
