Matri
*sighs* In honour of this seriously retarded piece of news, I'd like to post a "Movie I am not looking forward to". Asteroids: The Game movie adaptation. *sigh*
FullAuto
Knowing - A silly, naive film. Nic Cage becomes worse at acting as time goes on. Coincidence piled on coincidence piled on stupidity.
Zombie
Nicholas Cage wasn't that good of an actor to begin with so it isn't surprising. - Zombie
Azrael Strife
Watched a couple of movies last night. First of all, I watched Transformers again, and I it should be prohibited, also Michael Bay should refrain from making any more movies. And watched One Missed Call, man should I have listened the warnings, I hadn't watched a horror film that bad since Silent Hill.

FullAuto
Bad news, I think! Watchmen. Surprisingly good, I thought it was going to be dire.
Pete
District 9... out of ten! See what I did there? Equal parts funny/serious/documentary/actiony/emotional/reflection-on-humanity. But in this film it all works, and it's the first film I think I can honestly say I've forgotten that there's any CGI. It's all done so well and doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Oh, and the South African accent is the funniest for swearing. It's official.
FullAuto
Must go and see that. Keep forgetting. Moon, as well.
Zombie
The A-Team is coming out as a feature film in June-July next year. I was a huge fan of the series growing up, but I'm skeptical whether this is going to be as good as it's supposed to be. Too bad none of the original cast will be involved. Who should play Hannibal? In a YouTube video I watched the other day George Cloony was the chosen one (hypothetically speaking of course, the cast is probably already determined). He's a good actor, just not sure if he's right for the job. Faceman was to be played by Brad Pitt. I'm not a big fan of him, but I think he'd be the perfect choice. Really. Not sure about the other two: Murdock and BA. Should they include a female reporter? Dunno, if the writer is skillful enough to keep her as low-key as possible it might work. I say bring back Lance LeGault as Colonel Decker (I realize he's like in his 70's now, but he has a great presence on screen). Maybe not Colonel anymore but General or something. And yup, get Robert Vaughn in there too as Stockwell. He was a great actor. Eddie Valez as Frankie Santana would be another one to bring back. Ah, all wishes on my part. - Zombie
NKF
The A-Team was special because of its cast. Turning old series into modern films don't always work. Or when they do, they rarely feel the same as their base material. We'll wait and see. Hope they at least keep it campy and semi-serious. By the way, I see Mr-T did some Snickers ads recently. I recall seeing the one with the tank, helicopter and gatling gun. Then there was that show he hosted a few years back where he went about improving business or somesuch. He looks almost like he could still fill his old role if they wanted. - NKF
Zombie
Mr T looks much the same as he did 20 years ago. You could easily stick him in for BA and he'd fit in perfect. Well, Stephen Cannell (the original writer for the series) is slated to write the film also, so that's the good news. We need to wait and see how it will all turn out. Fingers crossed and all that. - Zombie

Zombie
That's funny! Thanks for sharing. Anyhow, to get back on topic a little, the X-Files is supposedly going to be made into a movie again. At least, that's what Gillian Anderson is saying. Hopefully one of these days I'll get to watch the second X-Files movie, but I heard it was a letdown. Is it any good? - Zombie
Matri
I haven't even watched the first. I watched a handful of episodes back when it was a series and, with the exception of a couple of episodes, it was a confusing mess.
Kizmiaz
I kinda look forward to but also dread Cowboys & Aliens.Have potential to be either a cool flick or a total turkey. Not that I've read rhe comic but the title alone is awesome. FullAuto
In The Loop. Painfully funny film ripping the piss out of UK-US relations over the war in Iraq. Had me laughing in every scene.
Zombie
I was really put off by the excessive swearing. Not only that, but it reminds me of The Office which just isn't funny. I suppose a mockumentary is to some, but not to me. Eh, you can keep it. - Zombie
Pete
Which "The Office" are you referring to? The UK one or the US one? I find both painful though (not as in funny either).
Zombie
The US version obviously. I don't think the UK version was even televised here... at least I don't think so. Not that I was looking for it by any means. - Zombie

Pete
See, I told you And they were concerned that the guys behind District 9 might not be able to pull off a film based on Halo. Tsk tsk. FullAuto
Apparently they're making a film of Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, the PS3 title. If Nathan Drake isn't played by Nathan Fillion, I shall cry, long and loud.
