Are There Any Modders Left?

It seems most give up on the larger mods, so if there are any left try smaller projects. I dont mod cant get the hang on the editor. When I say smaller I mean get together and make mods that will work together, like one person making a weapons mod, another making new random encounters. It is my understanding that you can run more than one mod at a time as long as they dont conflict, so one person could add random encounters to one side and some one else to the other and maybe even in diffrent areas.

The game is great it just needs better random encounters, they need to be bigger and more dangerous , one of them has only 3 enimies and you have a 6 man team just not much of a chalenge. The maps need to be bigger and maybe even linked to another map. This would really make the game 100% better and add to the replay value of it. Also there could be more than one mod for each area so you choose to play with diffrent random encounters with each new campain.

What I am trying to say is if there are any modders left get together and bring this game back to life, work together on making new areas and try not to conflict with each others work so we can enjoy all of your work not just one or two of you.

Also need some mods posted here and Please let us know whether they go with S2 or S3 I havent bought S3 yet because I just played the demo and if there are no modders left I will not get it because I think it needs modders BAD.

Thanks for listening :)

P.S. this is all just IMO

Yes, modders are very important. But we need to get people back to S2HQ (here) to get the modding community going again. To make this happen we firstly need to get the S2HQ site into this one (working on it, you can find the old one here in the meantime), and then make people spread the word about this great game. We will also make the mods already out there available here soon (the files section of the old site doesn't work at the moment), so people can enjoy the mods that have already been made. Problem is that both Pete and me are very busy in real life, and getting this site up and running is a lot of work.
