ApOcaLyPSe_1985
Hey peeps, Just showing off here to the ppl that never visit X-COM Last Hope. With Nod inactive, i'm training to take over the player modelling job Nod has. I'm still in the weapon business but it get's lame after a while. I just need some variation The Personal Armor guy was build using the line tool ( most of the times ) in combination with human anatomy. It worked out pretty good to me, but my opinion doesn't say a thing. So I need yours. Whatcha think about it ? Plz post comments so I can improve it to the max ok. ( Btw, the dude has no head. Still need to build one, multiple heads are planned ). https://209.51.159.71/dboard/viewtopic.php?...p?t=243&start=0 I will soon update the pic with the newer one, it has shorter boots and smaller wrists. ApOcaLyPSe_1985
I updated my model. It was looking fat and he's thinner now. Also corrected a error on the torso. To me it looks he's in the final tweak stage. I think i'll be building the head tomorrow. To bad I can't post it here, I can't upload one Oh well, I think I can grab a ftp somewhere. :bomber:
NKF
I am of the opinion that the shoulder pads are a little too large. Perhaps making them a little smaller and make them look as though they overlap on the shoulder rather than as a solid blocks hovering on top of the arms would help? No, that didn't sound quite right. Wish we could attach pictures myself. Also the girdle looks a bit strange, but I can't quite put my finger on it. The mid section is okay, it's just the sides. The angle that they're at looks a bit steep to me. - NKF
DragonHawk
It looks like the legs are too short. But while this may be true for a person, armour has to be slightly more bulbous, and may not be the same proportion. I agree with the shoulder pad thing. It doesn't actually look like it's protecting the shoulders.
ApOcaLyPSe_1985
OK thnx for yer replys all.Yeah I agree, they look big. I'll make them smaller. Oh, and they are not solid blocks, you see they do over lap the shoulder, I just need to make more depth in it.The shoulders clip through the shoulder caps so it looks like they're overlapping.I already maked them more smaller, i'll just add more depth to the shoulder caps and then i'll post a update. The Veteran
I like it. Do you know where I can find one of a Chryssalid and a Flying suit?
NKF
A chryssalid in a flying suit? Now there's a disturbing thought. It gets even worse if it figures out how to use the levitation buttons! [1] *Shudders* - NKF [1] I have this weird idea that the buckle of the jetpack contains the buttons to operate the flying suit. Up and down, and the wide button being the on/off switch. Don't know why, but that's the impression I get.

ApOcaLyPSe_1985
Lol, wouldn't that be a bit clumsy ? Maybe it's controlled by the soldiers Psi Implant, just a guess.Btw, I totally reformed the soldiers back and reduced the size of the shoulder pads. There was more but I forgot I'll post a pic soon, gotta go zzz now. Asmodai
What's with all that XP and hit points and stuff?
ApOcaLyPSe_1985
Lol, still awake here. You gain more exp if you make more post. If you post enough you'll level up. A higher level means you can post more. When you post your TU's decrease ( lucky me, I don't have that problem ). It prevents spamming.HP controls your activity, so if your not online very much then your health drops. It's nothing bad, just a activity indicator. When you level enough, you gain a rank. Like in X-COM this is like Rookie, Squaddie, Sargeant ( I think this is misspelled ), Captain, Commander you know. That's all you need to know.
