Aralez
Shagpuss, i re-checked some of the download-files and they worked. Which one was it? That's important to me. Slaughter, we would have played a Coop-game then, so we would have been three noobs

Kret
BTW, a little tip: never call an Ork Nob, noob. I don't think anyone that did is able to say they did so
Aralez
BTW, a little tip: never call an Ork Nob, noob. I don't think anyone that did is able to say they did so<{POST_SNAPBACK}> Why that? In DoW they are called that way.
Kret
Why that? In DoW they are called that way. 'Cause they're nobs, not noobs, there's a slight difference there

Aralez
That were some good games, shagpuss, it seems we improved quite a bit ! And we did even win on hard two times! Not bad, really not bad...
shagpuss
A thx for ur kind words, but.... I think I was good as I was ever goin to get a month or so ago, and beens I haven't played since then I seem to have slipped back a bit. I think I mite go back to Marines and start from there again. You on the other hand....where has the old Aralez gone? The one that built power plants over troops and had 10 kills in a game we played! (thought I wud bring that up again!) Those maps were all good quality aswell.
Aralez
The old Aralez died last year. From now on it's "No more Mr. Nice guy" Thx for the words about the maps, i get seldom or no feedback for them. This is always leaving me unsure if i can change something. I usually try to make maps in the style of the relic maps, that means bug-free, lots of small details, "background" details, no untextured areas etc. Kret was a good source of constructive criticism (e.g.the Ork-bug in the old version of the Moutain-Path map) but usually i hear: -Nothing-Questions about the installation of maps-Questions where one can find my website (despite the fact that the link is in my signature, grrrrr! ) Very encouraging Otoh maybe i don't get any feedback because there is nothing wrong ? Hmmmmm, well i hope that is it One question: Can anyone help me to make the logo on my site autocenter for different screen-resolutions ? I think Lurker uses a 1024x768 resolution and on his screen the pic is off-center. I use a 1280x1024 on my pc and don't have that problem... Kret
A, I use the same resolution, but because I tend to have the Favourites tab open all the time while browsing it also decenters the logo and the dash separation lines. The main reason for the lack of feedback from me is because of this human fault of being unable to play more than 1 game at a time. PS: Have you stopped hosting DoW replays? Oh, here some pics from our meeting yesterday (size kept small) https://www.os.101main.com/ufo/Pics/coop03.jpg https://www.os.101main.com/ufo/Pics/coop04.jpg https://www.os.101main.com/ufo/Pics/coop05.jpg https://www.os.101main.com/ufo/Pics/coop06.jpg https://www.os.101main.com/ufo/Pics/coop08.jpg https://www.os.101main.com/ufo/Pics/coop10.jpg https://www.os.101main.com/ufo/Pics/coop11.jpg
Aralez
Site updated. As i couldn't change the logos etc. to autocenter i went for a lazy solution I tested it with resolutions from 800x600 up to 1280x1024 and all seemed to work. shagpuss
(WARNING! Long Post Alert! ) Aha!! I knew u wud be tempted to capture the glory of the cultists in full swing!! They do seem to be quite handy wit hthsoe G/Launchers!! I will change my on-line game name to "Mr Plod Along" One good moment from the Mount Olympus game was the large Ork Army destroying my base as our armies were destroying theirs. Thankfully we wiped their base out first and "POOF" their army dissapeared. A, I like K, neva have time to play much off-line, thats why I neva comment, but from experiences ur maps are always well constructed and "filled" intelligently. But then again I aint no map critic so wot do I know? I wud guess people would be more likely to complain about dodgy maps rather than praise the maker. So in my book No Complaints = Good Map. K, I think A is definately goin with ur style of play, I think he had defeated one enemy before I had even fort about attacking ne1!! Have u guys seen that sig creater that puts ur DOW games stats in a little pic so u can use it as a sig?
shagpuss
Aralez on ur site the thumbnail pic for Holodeck appears twice, or is it just me?
