Wanderer
I've been fiddling around with the panzerklein weapons essentially. And the changes are producing totally off the wall results. I've tried adding range, increasing rates of fire and adding extra fire modes to guns such as the autocannons and such. Instead of producing the desired results, all the effected guns became flechette cannons  . While this would have quite promising for shotgun type weapons, this is entirely unacceptable when i'm trying to create a more accurate machinegun and instead it fires a wall of 40+ bullets in a thick cloud. When using weapons such as the MK108, it fires of all of its ammo with a large slowdown as the shells impact. Additional tweaking has managed to reduce the number of shells fired but i've yet to discover why the guns are behaving so Does anyone know the right way to edit weapon stats without these rather peculiar results? I've been using the RPGweapons table for the changes and haven't been able to find anything else which has similar data.
LoTekK
I don't suppose you accidentally messed with the "shotsinone" field in the entry, did you? Coz that field was added in the 1.2 patch to allow shotgun-type weapons.
Wanderer
Heck i didn't even know that such a field existed. In the last attempt i changed only 1 value which was the ROF of the MG81Z which i turned from 44 to 55. It still resulted in a shotgun blast.
