TOPO
I'm trying to create a New weapon just to see how it can be done and I can't... there is something wrong or I'm loosing some point on it, but I don't know what's happening and I can't create a NEW weapon First we will look at the used structures for such job and the relevant properties (I'm going to try to create a fiction rifle, the xmauser, with increased attributes in the game and a NEW MODEL): * WeaponsRPG WeaponsRiflesalliesxmauser:RPG ItemsitemID - links to "RPG ItemsWeaponsRiflesxmauser" * RPG ItemsWeaponsRiflesxmauser:ModelsmodelID - links to "All ModelsCharactersWeaponsRiflesxmauser" * All ModelsCharactersWeaponsRiflesxmauser:GeometriesGeometryID - links to "All GeometriesCharactersWeaponsRiflesxmauser"MaterialsMaterial0 - These are the textures and so, it will work with any weapon material, so forget about it * All GeometriesCharactersWeaponsRiflesxmauser: (here comes my trouble), I think GeneralSrcName should this link to my .mb maya weapons file?GeneralRootJoint what the hell makes this property? is it the link to an object inside the .mb file?AIGeometriesAIGeometryID - links to All "AIGeometriesCharactersWeaponsRiflesxmauser" * All AIGeometriesCharactersWeaponsRiflesxmauser: (here comes my trouble too)GeneralSrcName should this link to my .mb maya weapons file?GeneralRootJoint what the hell makes this property? is it the link to an object inside the .mb file? And here I am... I tried a lot even using the standar "CharactersWeaponsRifles_Real.mb" but there is something wrong about Geometries and AIGeometries, in fact if I copy/pase a weapon Geometry it doesn't work at all!!! (the same with AI geometries, copy and paste doesn't work) So, anyone tried to add new weapons this way?Anyone can help?
