Biggles
As some peoples mods start to grow or get updated frequently it is obviously going to help if they have a 'home' I've got two options at the moment that i can offer people. A Page at S2HQ First, is a page at S2HQ. This is suitable for ALL mods, but especially smaller ones which just need a description, maybe a screenshot or two and a 'what's new'. If you want a page like this, you need to send me some HTML and any images in a .ZIP file. The code must be pretty simple, as I'll be copyiing your source and putting it into an 'Article' so try and avoid tables (especially any fixed size ones over 400pixels wide). Don't put ANY font tags in your code! Bold, Strong, Italic, Underlined only. if you want a large heading put a note on the page for me to do that and i'll do it with the CMS I use. Images should be named mod_yourmodname_01.jpg etc etc and need to be in a subdirectory called img/mod/ please only use images of a maximum 400pixels wide in your page. If you have a screenshot that's fine, but use a thumbnail and have the screenshot open in a new window. I will edit pages a bit where I have time, but otherwise these will be put straight online with little modification. Your own sub-siteWell, almost. At the moment I am not going to allow anyone access to ftp. But I am willing to put a site as a sub directory on the S2HQ. You will need to build the site yourself, and just email me a .ZIP with directory structure intact. The size of your site is negotiable, but I'd expect 2 or 3mb to be the max. The URL will be in the form of: www.s2hq.com/mod/mymodname/index.html I would expect a link to S2HQ. I'll also add a forum area for you! Future Options Down the track in may be worthwhile me creating sub-domains eg mymodname.s2hq.com these would be under your complete control (subject of course to the normal hosting rules etc), and would have email addresses too! There would be some form of small fee if someone wanted this though.
