Scooby3000
Okay..I have followed the instructions in the sticky message above but when I go to "Paint" on the texture. the white grid just stays white. Ntohting shows up at all. I have tried picking different textures and still no go....nothing appears to happen when I use the painbrush tool. I have read and re-read the instructions numerous times and am out of ideas. Thanks for any help. Wish the developers would come out with a basic step-by-step to explain this. Biggles
I think the solution here may be a very simple one. Have a look at the layers pallete and make sure that the texture layer is ticked. I had exactly the same problem until I realised I wasn't ticking the layer. and the developer's are doing (have done) a manual.. but it has to be translated into english (and still make sense) so it's still in the pipeline. Scooby3000
Thanks for the help. Still not working though. I have attached a pic. I even thought that I was painting on the wrong side of the grid and tried the other side still with no results. Any other ideas from looking at the pic? I'm sure Im just missing something obvious. Thanks again. https://members.shaw.ca/gregaman/pics/editor.JPG
Biggles
I think you have the wrong brush selected. At the top, choose the selection arrow, not the brush. if that doesn't work I'll double check tonight when I get home.
Poor Yurik
Don't use the paint brush tool. Use the arrow tool. Also, you need to double click on the colored box next to the "texture" in the layers menu and choose a ground texture under UK like Grass. Scooby3000
Thanks! Was confused by everyone saying "paint" the texture on. I will try the arrow tool tonight.
